IfYouKnow is a food and venue discovery service that helps people discover venues and creator reviews.

Information we may collect

Depending on how you use IfYouKnow, we may process account and profile information, content you choose to add, venue interactions, favourites and follows, approximate or precise location when you grant permission, device and technical information, and information provided by connected social platforms when you explicitly authorise a connection.

If you use a website contact or beta-access form, we also process the information you enter, such as your name, email address, tester type, support category and message, so that we can respond to your request.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve IfYouKnow, personalise discovery, connect reviews with venues, operate creator and venue features, provide support, process beta-access requests, maintain security and understand how the service is used.

Connected social accounts

If you choose to connect a supported social account, IfYouKnow only requests permissions needed for the features you choose to use. Connecting an account does not give IfYouKnow permission to publish content unless a feature clearly asks for that permission and you explicitly authorise it.

Sharing and service providers

We may use trusted service providers to operate the service, including hosting, authentication, mapping, notifications, analytics and website form delivery. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

You can choose whether to provide optional profile information, location permission and social account access. You may contact us about access, correction or deletion of your information.

Account deletion requests

You can request deletion of your IfYouKnow account and associated personal data without logging in. Requests are handled manually after account ownership is verified. Submitting a request does not immediately delete an account or cancel a store subscription. Our team will explain any necessary retention when handling your request.
